I have a Sony Vaio laptop with both Windows 98 and Windows XP operating
systems installed on the hard drive. How do I remove Windows 98? There is
no room for additional software that I want to use with XP.

To Remove W98 simply boot to XP and delete the folder that W98 was installed
in. You will probably want to also remove the option to boot to W98, but
that process depends on which boot manager you are using. If you are using
the boot manager that was provided with XP, then you could ask in an XP
newsgroup (although there is a description here:
